What are the dimensions and weight of Chime ?
Dimensions of Chime are 13.5 inches in height, 11 inches in length and 11 inches in width. Weight is 15 lbs.
How much time does it take to make one cup of chai?
The time it takes to brew chai depends on your recipe. In general it takes about 3 to 7 minutes.
Chime has the option of a regular and large cup. Regular cup is 8 oz (235 ml) and Large cup is 12 oz (350 ml). We also have options for brewing light, medium or strong chai. Lighter chai takes less time to brew compared to stronger chai.
A regular light chai will take approximately 3 minutes and a large strong chai will take approximately 7 minutes to brew.
How much chai is made in one cycle?
We have two settings in Chime. Regular cup, 8 oz (235 ml) and Large cup,12 oz (350 ml).
Can I use my own chai?
Chime works only with Chime Caps. Chime does provide an option to add your own spices for further customization.
Chime is designed to provide a complete end-to-end experience. Brewing chai using Chime is very easy. Most importantly Chime provides fresh and consistent chai to all chai lovers.
We are extremely proud of the quality of our tea. We have handpicked and curated our tea from upper Assam and Darjeeling and fresh organic spices from Kerala for our blends.
We also nitrogen flush every cap so that ingredients stay fresh until the time it is opened. Chime caps are recyclable, so the only waste created is compostable tea leaves and recyclable caps. No landfill waste.
How can I get a demo of Chime?
We sell Chime on our website www.brewchime.com and on Amazon. We do not have a retail outlet.

Does Chime work with other milk alternatives such as Soy milk, Almond milk, etc.?
YES. We have tested various non-dairy options such as Oat milk, Soy milk and Almond milk and it works just as well as with regular milk.
How do you clean and maintain the brewer?
Below are steps to clean the top boiler chamber.
Once your brew cycle is complete, you can compost the tea leaves in the stainless steel sieve and then rinse the sieve and the milk carafe. Milk Carafe is at the bottom where the milk is added and stainless steel sieve is in the top chamber where the tea brews.
Alternatively, you can clean them in the dishwasher. (They are dishwasher safe). If you have two of each, it will make the cleaning process much easier. You can clean one pair in the dishwasher while you use the other and keep rotating. You can also keep more of these based on your usage pattern.
Before you put the Sieve back, You can take a wet paper towel and wipe the top boiler heater plate and glass. This will go a long way in maintaining the brewer, not clogging the drain, and also cleaning leftover tea residue after the brew cycle.
You do not need to wipe the top chamber if you are brewing chai back to back. Though we recommend you wipe it at least once at the end of the day.
Over a period of time, your sieve and boiler plate will get stained. Below are some recommendations to address that.
Our cleaning tablets are phosphate free and designed to clean Chime’s top boiler effectively. You can buy them on our website - https://brewchime.com/collections/accessories. Please follow the steps below to run a full clean cycle.
Make sure your sieve and the milk carafe are empty and the water tank is full. Put only one cleaning tablet in the top chamber. It should fall into the sieve, so make sure the sieve is present.
Press the middle button "Menu" and then rotate the dial to find "Full Clean" Press the dial to select full clean and follow instructions.
Once the cycle is done. Rinse the milk carafe and Sieve to make sure all particles are washed off. Also, take a wet paper towel and clean inside the top boiler before placing the sieve back.
Your Sieve and top chamber should be as good as new.
We recommend you run a full clean cycle once every 15 days.

In what sizes are Chime caps available?
Based on the feedback received from our customers , we now have Chai caps in two sizes i.e. 8 oz which makes 1 cup of tea for a single user & 2 cups which makes 2 cups of tea for a couple.
What are the different pack sizes in which Chime caps are available ?
Chime caps are available in the following pack sizes
8oz(1cup) - 10 caps/10 cups
8oz(2cups) - 30 caps/30 cups
16oz(1cup) - 10 caps/20 cups
16oz(2cups) - 30 caps/60 cups
We recommend you buy packs as per your usage, our Chime caps stay fresh for 18 months as they are Nitrogen sealed.Take advantage of free shipping by ordering above $70.
Are chime caps recyclable?
Yes, Chime caps are 100% recyclable. We use single use 100% recyclable food grade plastic. Our caps are just a carrier of tea and spices to keep them fresh till you are ready to brew. This way you get the freshest ingredients in your Chai. Tea is not extracted in the caps like coffee pods, hence they are recyclable. We are constantly looking for solutions to make our caps compostable.
Do you put sugar in your Chime caps?
We do not put any sugar in Chime Caps. You can put as much or as little sugar as you like in each cup. You can do this by adding sugar in the milk carafe before or after chai is made.
How can I manage my subscription?
All you need to do is login to your account and click on “Manage Subscription”. You can change your frequency, pause or cancel subscription swap chai packs or update your payment information.

Shipping / Returns / Warranty / Discount
When will my order ship and how long will it take to arrive?
We ship all our orders within 2 working days from the day the order is received.
It takes 3 to 5 days for the order to be delivered based on location. You should receive the order within 5 to 7 days
As soon as the order is picked up from our warehouse you will receive an email with tracking information.

Do you charge shipping?
All our brewer orders have free shipping within the USA except (Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska.
All our chai pack and accessories orders have free shipping for order value above $70.
For orders below $70, our shipping rate is $12.95.
Do you ship the order outside the United States?
We currently ship orders only within United States (excluding Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico)

What is your return and warranty policy?
All Chime Brewer orders are subject to a 30 day money back guarantee and a 1 year warranty for any defects or malfunction.
All Chai pack orders are non refundable since it is a food item.
Do you have an extended warranty?
Currently, We do not have an extended warranty. We will introduce extended warranty soon.
My caps were broken in transit. What can you do to replace them?
Please send us an email at support@brewchime.com with a picture of the broken caps and the flavor that you would like as a replacement.
How can I return my brewer and get a refund?
We have built this product to solve a difficult problem. We have replicated the traditional chai making process and brought technology to bring ease of use without compromising the taste. We understand that Chime takes a bit of getting used to. We have helped many customers to integrate Chime in their daily life.
